Investigation underway in 4th county for man arrested for home improvement fraud

POSEY CO., Ind. (WFIE) – The person we at first documented who was arrested for house improvement fraud is not only back in jail, but struggling with a felony accommodate from yet another previous client.

Proprietor of Elite Design Supply Firm 45-calendar year-aged Matthew Gates is however in jail at the Vanderburgh County Jail.

Equivalent to other situations brought against him, Gates has been accused and submitted from by the Muller’s in Posey County, who say that he was paid out to change their roof.

“We commenced renovating our property, and we hired Matt Gates to place a roof on,” reported Jeremy Muller, “he came out, he ripped the roof off the household, and he just still left it open.”

He left a tarp on the roof of the residence, but as Clarissa Muller pointed out, it blew off inside a 7 days. They attempted to make contact with Gates, but he by no means returned to finish their roof.

Jeremy and Clarissa have experienced to chalk their residence up to a total loss. More than everything though, they just want Gates to be stopped.

“I want him shut down for what he’s done,” stated Jeremy, “he’s wrecked my family.”
