Jim Corbett National Park: It is one of the most popular wildlife reserves of India and it is considered as the oldest national park of India. History: It was previously known as Hailey National Park, established in 1936, later has changed Jim Corbett in the honors of world famous conservationist and fabled hunter Jim Corbett. It was the private property of British Government and local rurals during 18 century later the governor, Sir Malcolm Hailey, supported the proposal for the sanctuary in 1934.
